There was a popular kids song in churches a few year ago, which went something like

The Church is not a building

The Church is not a steeple, 

The Church is not a resting place, 

The Church is the people

Although very simple this song points to an important truth. It is in gathering together that we are most able to live into our calling from God, to be the church.

We gather for many reasons here at Good Shepherd, but most of our regular gathering fall into the categories of gathering to fellowship, to serve and to learn.

I encourage you to be a part of the gathering together that occurs, it is good for us all, when we are able to be in each others company.
